In this article, you will get the updated AFK Arena tier list of all the heroes of the game. The ratings are split into different levels of characters. Each character is rated based on its usefulness in various types of content. It includes PvE, PvP, a Maze, 2 Guild Bosses, and the Labyrinth (relic content).
Heroes are divided into different lists based on their strength at certain levels. This varies significantly due to the enhancement of skills. Descriptions of all abilities are also summarized properly; read ahead!
Ratings are entirely subjective. If you think that the hero has something wrong, let us know (with proof), and we will gladly change its position in the table. Also, keep in mind that the unique features of AFK Arena are that you can lose the experience of heroes and level up another character. Do not be afraid to try different heroes and teams to complete the game.
Outfitting can also be an added bonus for the heroes in the AFK Arena tier list. And do not forget about the faction bonus if you have at least 3 heroes of the same faction in the team. We recommend having at least one active buff.
The ratings of the AFK Arena Tier List below are based on the personal opinion of experienced players, who have strongholds to the high-end games. Moreover, there is a community tire list made by some users of the official subreddit for the Lilith Games.

- S + is very strong. Best hero!

- A – perfectly balanced for everything!
- B – a little weak. An average hero with certain weaknesses, but still usable!
- C is a weak hero. Avoid using it if possible!
- D / E is a fragile hero. Do not use
- F – WORST!

To help you a little, we advise you to use the best armor, weapons, etc. in the heroes that you are going to use. Focus your effort on leveling up the best team you have.
For example, if you have Lucius, you should put the maximum defense and HP. But on the contrary, the heroes must equip the weapons that do more damage.
The same with the agility. Give the best weapon for an AFK Arena character that deals more damage, such as Saveas.

Shemira: Why isn’t she an optimal hero?
Actually, she is perfect and one of the best heroes from early to mid-stage. She starts performing from level 161 after unlocking most of her important skills.
Since then, you can get her to level 40 by investing your resources. Other heroes will still be able to provide her decent support to her.
Shemira is free-to-play friendly, and the easiest carry to invest in. You can get 2 copies of Shemira for free, one from the Divine Realm and one from finishing Chapter 15. Moreover, you can get her from the Labyrinth Store too.
But when your crystal gets level 240+, you will realize she is less effective. She will die faster, even before casting the ultimate. After level 240, players use Shemira only in the Guild Hunt and some specific King’s Tower. That’s why she isn’t in the optimal hero of the AFK Arena tier list.
Best Triple Wilders Combo
- Lucius/Brutus/Grezhul + Shemira + Green Trio (Lyca, Nemora, Tasi) is one of the best teams in the AFK Arena game, especially for campaigns and King’s Tower. Generally, after level 240, people replace Shemira with Ferael. However, the Green Trio is still amazing for campaigns.
- We recommend Lyca, Nemora & Tasi as your first tree Wilder Heroes. After that, you can work on Eironn or Kaz as the tank for the Wilder tower.
- Arden shines after level 141. He is a great hero in the early game. However, he won’t be much effective in the past chapter 22/23 as he is capped at level 160.
- Lorsan is great for Guild Hunts and some specific campaigns.
- Get copies of Farael as much as possible. But do not use him as a fooder.
Lightbearer Team
After the release of new Lightbearer Heroes, using them in the campaign becomes more viable.
A full Lightbearer (or Celestial – Lightbearer) can be super strong with the team faction bonus. You can use Athalia as the main carry till her signature item reach level 30+ (to ensure severe damage).
Mauler Team
- For Campaign & King’s Tower, Maulers are the worst faction (except Brutus). He is able to deal with the enemies who are way stronger than him because of the Last Gasp ability.
Khasos & Safiya are the two honored heroes. They are outstanding in some specific chapters. However, we can not keep him in the optimal heroes of the AFK Arena tier list.

Who are the best heroes in AFK Arena to dominate the game?
Shemira (probably the best to carry in the game as of now), and Athalia seems to be the best in the game. But we will keep updating this tier list and all answers from time-to-time based on enhancing their skills. However, the best player largely depends on what stage of the game you are at. Some heroes can be insanely good initially at the starting of the game. They can fall off later. While some of them may be worst initially, but very good at the later stage of the game.

Which heroes in the AFK arena are the best healers?
Nemora (probably the best), Tasi, Angelo, Numisu, and Merek are the best healers in the AFK Arena game. Lucius is the second-best healer after his Ult upgrade on level 81. On the third place, we can consider Tasi.

Who are the best attacker heroes in the AFK arena?
The strongest damage dealers are Athalia and Lyca. While Shemira and Belinda are the strongest mages. Athalia makes a massive amount of damage compared to her counterparts. She has a decent stun, and her ult catches multiple enemies. Shemira is excessively overpowered, and you shouldn’t miss her if you get the opportunity to have her on your team.

A few days ago I’ve seen some people saying that Kaz could replace Ulmus in frontline if she is SI30. Don’t you think she deserves to be at least on Tier D? Is she as bad as Rigby?

Hey, so I’m in chapter 29, lv 307, and my main hero is Rigby. He’s helped me get 1.1 billion Wrizz damage (Rigby, Saurus, Rosa, twins, Warek) and with the right team, mine actually tends to do the most tanking and damage out of everyone, even when using heroes like Ferael and Oden. I know that’s not pre-300 or something but definitely worthy of not being the worst end game hero. (I wish I could post pictures here, it would be easier to give proof)

Early game is 161-240
Midgame is 241- ch 32
Lategame is ch 33-36
Endgame is 37-40
pls update I don’t want newer players to be seeing these and taking non-optimal routes
