Community tier list is generated under the assumption that the player has equal access to every hero in the game. This in fact makes judging Celestials / Hypogeans more fair as it won’t make sense for us to compare heroes stuck at Elite+ against their Ascended counterparts.
Community Tier List: Levels 1-160
Talene isn’t THAT broken this early on, but if one hero is deserving of that spot, it has got to be her. Her versatility makes it such that you can literally use her to fill any role on the team and still get the faction bonus. Other than that, heroes like Shemira/Belinda might seem a little high on the list. But, honestly, most AoE heroes work, and the only difference is to what extent.
Obviously, those two aren’t as good as Mirael/Solise/Khazard at this point. Then there’s also the “never-used” tier, which is a little controversial with Estrilda/Hendrik being lower than Skreg/Warek/Tidus. Still, at this level, those 2 tiers are REALLY close.
My point is you shouldn’t be paying much attention to anything below B this early on. Lastly, Cecilia wasn’t tested much, but neither have I seen more people running her over Thane, so she’s merely “Thane-Tier.”
Celestials/Hypogeans are never used for obvious reasons. There isn’t much to explain since the player has limited choices within the Faction Tower. So the lineups used basically consist of 34 strongest heroes—each faction with an additional 112 for swapping in and out.
Community Tier List: Levels 161-240
Shemira is hands down the best carry at this point in the game along with Brutus and the wilder trio for support. Athalia is a little high here, but she can help you squeeze out some damage while hard-cc’ing an enemy at the start of the game, which I personally value. Also, don’t forget our assumption at the start, which means she’s a lot better than most people would have her at this point in the game.
The Maulers seem a little high, but honestly similar to before, anything below B isn’t widely played either. You could technically force carries like Eironn or Ferael to be usable, but why would you when Shemira exists. That said, Skreg and Khasos are what some players would buy from the Labyrinth to get an ascended hero out of their Mauler faction which is why they sometimes see play.
This is only for Soren and Wrizz. I mean, if you want to see Twisted Realm lineups, you can simply just click the leaderboard, and everything is there. That’s not to mention that lineups differ too much between the TR bosses to make a single-tier list. Other than that, SSS and SS tiers are basically the energy cycle lineup heroes making for one of the best lineups in the game (if your wallet can afford it).
“A” tier heroes are mostly good with turning bosses around. But, I put Athalia higher because she does nice damage on top of that. That’s not saying Warek & Baden don’t do damage though since they debuff the boss which is nice. Anything below B is pretty irrelevant, and I just let F tier get cut off cause other-wise, the table will be too small.
Community Tier List: Levels 240+
Celestials/Hypogeans are beast at end game and universally see the play, especially in multi-fight stages. Thoran is amongst the S tier thanks to his cheese tactics while Kelthur moved to D for the same reason. Gwyneth & Arthur vs. Belinda & Rosaline is pretty close with it being heavily matchup dependent.
So I thought it’s fair to have them at the same tier. Wilders trio aren’t exactly weaker than the LB core team. They are especial if you can get Rowan’s signature item to +30. That said, they are still really close, though, and I actually didn’t want to put them below LB. Shemira cough “FALLS OFF” cough but remains very much usable. I see many more people using Grezhul, so he might be close to a B tier but definitely not as much as the wilder trio.
Player Vs. Player
This is my least played most familiar mode yet. Celestials/Hypogeans are pretty OP, and you can see most of them in some team or another, even Zolrath. Arthur sounds good on paper but gets countered too-hard with heroes turning him around. Brutus is a little high, but many people still use it even in the finals, especially on a regular ladder.
Now that I look at it again, the C tier actually features a lot of bad heroes in LC finals. But see a lot of ladder play since they are good budget options. I’m not sure about Cecilia, but she did all right in the last tournament, so she deserves a B spot. I honestly don’t know why all the Maulers aren’t in F tier.

NOTE: The problem with this, and also most tier lists, is that tier lists cannot be sufficiently represented in confined boxes. Instead, they need to be represented on a spectrum to better show their relative strength compared to other heroes. However, I did not opt for that this time because I wanted to take this opportunity to set up a community tier list using google forms.
